Artist Statement

As a multimedia artist, Debbie’s work involves a diverse range of mediums, including motion graphics animation, 3D modeling and animation, digital art and illustration, and video editing. She strives to explore innovative methods of engaging audiences through projection mapping, visual effects, and technology-driven immersive environments. Debbie believes in the transformative power of digital technology, which enables us to stretch our imaginations beyond the confines of the real world.

In her creative process, she often combines digital art with modern technology, experimenting with color and texture to craft complex experiences. This approach allows her to create pieces that resonate visually and evoke deep emotional responses. Each project begins with a search for inspiration, drawing from platforms like Firefly, Behance, and Adobe Express, as well as the world around, then she puts down sketches and written concepts, remaining open to evolving ideas as work develops.

Debbie’s inspirations are rooted in her fascination with visually rich storytelling found in sci-fi  and fantasy films and tv shows. She is captivated by the cinematic worlds that invoke a sense of power and possibility. She aims to create immersive experiences that transport viewers to new worlds.
