Created as part of a motion graphics class project, this animated postcard captures a still, atmospheric moment in Istanbul. The composition began as a vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, where I focused on architectural detail, balanced layout, and a soft, cohesive color palette.
I then brought the artwork into Adobe After Effects to animate subtle elements like drifting clouds and flickering lights. These minimal movements were designed to add depth and presence without turning the piece into a full narrative. The goal was to create a calm, reflective visual—something that feels like pausing in a real moment, not just watching a loop.
The project explores how small touches of motion can transform a static image into something immersive, emotional, and alive.
